Tips for Dining and Getting Around Vence
Many popular restaurants in Vence, including Auberge des Seigneurs, often require reservations in advance. We recommend contacting restaurants directly by phone, as many are traditional and offer only one or two seatings per evening. Walk ins are sometimes possible, but availability can be limited, so planning ahead is encouraged.
If you would like additional recommendations beyond what we have listed, the official Vence Tourism Office website is a great resource. It includes online maps, transportation details, and lists of restaurants, attractions, and activities.

For physical maps and local bus routes, we also suggest stopping by the Vence Tourism Office in person. They provide seasonal maps and up to date public transportation information during the summer months. The staff is very helpful and English is spoken. They also offer guidance on local landmarks, activities, and travel throughout the Côte d’Azur and the greater South of France, especially if you are continuing your travels after the wedding.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence is another beautiful village nearby and is easily accessible by bus from Vence. While close in distance, Vence and Saint Paul de Vence are two separate villages, each with its own charm and worth exploring.
The Vence Tourism Office is located at Villa Alexandrine, Place du Grand Jardin,
36 Rue du 8 Mai 1945,
06140 Vence, France.
